Nicky has just given birth to her first daughter so is taking a well-deserved break from Spa Angels and in October 2008 Kirsty had a gorgeous beauty and tanning studio built at the bottom of her garden!
The studio enables her to continue providing that luxurious, first class service to her clients in a wonderfully calm and tranquil environment. Situated just two minutes from The Meadows at Sandhurst, the studio has ample private parking.
As a mum herself Kirsty recognises only too well the difficulties in finding the time to attend high street salon appointments and with the studio just at the bottom of her garden she is able to be extremely flexible with her working hours offering appointment times to suit her clients.
Manicures, pedicures, waxing, luxury organic facials, lash and brow treatments, make up services including bridal make-up and spray tanning are all on offer in the studio.
The Spa Angels Girls Nights In are still available – Kirsty has several carefully selected therapists on board to join her for these fun pamper nights.
How it all began
In 2006 Kirsty and Nicky, long time best friends were able to realise their dream of running a beauty business together and the girls combined their talents to bring the Spa Angels concept to life – a mobile beauty service offering all the luxury and attention to detail that clients would expect from a top class salon at times to suit the client – daytimes, evenings and even weekends.
Kirsty has qualifications in all aspects of beauty therapy after starting her beauty training in the early 90's. Whilst expecting her daughter thirteen years ago, she trained with Beauty For All Seasons and ran a successful business from home as a Colour and Image Consultant offering invaluable colour, wardrobe and make-up advice to her clients. Eight years ago, Kirsty discovered spray tanning! She chose to train with Heavenly Bodies – a very well established company providing an exceptionally high quality product. Being so fair skinned herself, and never being able to tan naturally, and after years of trying numerous self tan products with not much success, Kirsty really rates this one!
Nicky first qualified in Beauty and Massage therapy in 1990 and over the years trained with many different beauty houses acquiring specialist holistic qualifications.
