Nicky and Kirsty
Kirsty's Story
Kirsty studied languages at college and worked in London as a PA for seven years. In 1994 she attended evening classes training in all aspects of beauty therapy and gained her IHBC qualification, this long having been her special interest.
Whilst expecting her daughter, Kirsty joined Beauty For All Seasons and ran a successful business from home as a Colour and Image Consultant offering invaluable colour, wardrobe and make up advice to her clients.
Eight years ago, after the birth of her son, Kirsty diversified into spray tanning. She chose to train with the Heavenly Bodies Tanning Company — a very well established company providing an exceptionally high quality product. Being so fair skinned herself, and never being able to tan naturally, and after years of trying numerous self tan products with varying degress of success, Kirsty really rates this one!
As a mum herself, Kirsty recognises only too well the tremendous difficulty in finding the time to attend salon appointments. This is why Spa Angels at Home is so successful — providing all the luxury and attention to detail that you would expect from a top class salon to you in your home, at a time to suit you, daytimes, evenings, even weekends.
Kirsty and Nicky always dreamed of running a beauty business together and since Nic moved into the area the girls have combined their talents to bring the Spa Angels at Home concept to life.
Nicky's Story
Nicky first qualified in Beauty and Massage Therapy in 1990 and obtained diplomas with City & Guilds and the International Health & Beauty Council.
She worked for herself building up a successful business, renting a room within a private health club in Kent before venturing overseas to work in a 5–star Spa for over 4 years in Bermuda.
On returning to the UK in 2002 she moved to London to work in the prestigious Chelsea Club at Stamford Bridge and then on to manage a beauty, massage and yoga centre in Chiswick, West London.
She has trained with many different beauty product houses in the past 16 years and has acquired qualifications in specialised treatments such as Aromatherapy, Indian Head Massage, Seated Acupressure Massage and Reiki Healing.
Nicky is now enjoying living in rural England on the Surrey / Berkshire borders and successfully establishing 'Spa Angels at Home' with her business buddy and long time best friend Kirsty.
