Waxing Do's and Don'ts

Do. . . .

• Inform your therapist of any products being used in the same area as the treatment particularly any facial products containing hydroxy or fruit acids.
• Inform your therapist if you are having chemical peels or microdermabrasion.
• Inform your therapist of any other factors which may affect the performance or jeopardise the safety of your treatment (eg medication for skin complaints i.e. Retin A, Accutane, or other medications.

Don't. . . .

• Undertake heat treatments 12 hours prior and 24 hours after your waxing treatments (sunbeds, saunas etc)
• Apply any lotions apart from the specialised After Wax lotion for 24 hours after treatment
• Apply self tanning products for 24 hours following treatment
• Use dedorant for 24 hours following treatment
• Expose waxed areas to strong sunlight for 24 hours following treatment
• Take a hot bath or shower for 24 hours following treatment
